[September 3rd 2010 08:52:29 PM] A few words of historic background explanation are necessary in introducing this outstanding video by Galvan. The "Iberian peninsula" is what we Americans refer to as 'Spain'. Spain was conquered and occupied by Islam, for ~750 years, prior to it's liberation by the native Spanish Christians. At that time of Islamic occupation, Spain was call "Cordoba" by its Muslim rulers. The expansion by the sword, and complete conquest of Northern Europe by Muslims was only halted at the defeat of the Islamic invaders by Frankish (French) Christian forces at the Battle of Tours (Portieres) in 732 A.D.
